Quincy Porchfest 2015

Yesterday was the 4th annual Quincy Porchfest – a diverse free music event held on the porches of historic homes throughout beautiful downtown Quincy. We didn’t host anyone on our porch this year, but we did hold another open house. And this year I actually got out to see a little of the music finally!

Also this year there were free Segways available for touring and area artists and members of the Gadsden Arts Guild participated in a world-wide “Sketch Crawl,” sketching and journaling on-site throughout the afternoon.

The evening culminated with a finale performance by jazz big band, Thursday Night Music Club at the historic Leaf Theatre.
